About This Role

Alinta Energy is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our team at the Reeves Plains Energy Hub, located north of Adelaide. This exciting project aims to enhance regional energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions through the implementation of a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

This role requires an experienced professional to deliver essential HSE services and advice, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HSE plans, conducting risk assessments specific to the BESS, and promoting a culture of Zero Harm.

Job Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in occupational health & safety, or extensive relevant experience.
  • More than five years of professional experience with recognized expertise in HSE management.
  • Construction and/or operational plant-based experience, with knowledge of behavioural-based HSE management programs.
  • Proven track record in developing project HSE plans and innovative solutions to complex problems.
