Our organization is seeking a skilled Biological Specimen Collector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service and communication skills. You will work closely with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure seamless sample collection and delivery.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
  • Organisational skills, with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic
  • A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
