About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading our operations teams to achieve safe productivity, cost, and quality requirements.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a mining production environment and a passion for developing and coaching team members. You will be responsible for implementing production operation plans to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impact.
You will work closely with Load & Haul, Mine Planning, and Maintenance teams to ensure mine plans are met and balancing competing priorities to ensure the site achieves targets. Your strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safety will make you an ideal fit for this role.
This is a permanent position working directly for Rio Tinto, offering a competitive base salary, comprehensive medical benefits, attractive share ownership plan, company-provided insurance cover, and extensive salary sacrifice options.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead on the frontline to motivate, inspire, and keep your people safe and well.
- Implement production operation plans to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impact.
- Work closely with Load & Haul, Mine Planning, and Maintenance teams to ensure mine plans are met.
- Complete daily inspections of the pit and drive a positive safety culture with your team.
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to align on operational plans and strategies.
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
- Prior experience in a mining production environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to deliver solutions across an operation.

- A Current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence (Manual).
- Statutory Position Legal Exam – Statutory Supervisor.
