
Expert Microsoft Messaging Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned expert in Microsoft Messaging, with a proven track record of delivering reliable, secure, and efficient messaging services. With a deep understanding of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and core Microsoft 365 services, you will lead the design and operation of messaging and collaboration solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain mail flow and platform health, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum user productivity.
- Own the design and operation of messaging services, guiding governance and adoption to drive business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes, including planning and executing messaging improvements and migrations.
- Administer core Teams policies and collaborate on lifecycle and governance to ensure seamless user experience.
- Apply foundational hybrid identity, authentication, and access controls to enable secure collaboration.
- Coordinate with endpoint teams on Windows 11 SOE readiness, Intune/Autopilot deployment, and update posture.
Requirements:
- Necessary Skills: Messaging (Primary)
- 10+ years' experience in Microsoft Messaging across enterprise environments.
- MS-203 certification ideal; complementary Microsoft 365/Identity certifications beneficial.
- ITIL Foundation preferred.
- Security Clearance NV1 (mandatory).

Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Exchange Online, Hybrid, and on-premises in enterprise settings.
- Understanding of mail flow, platform operations, and security/compliance fundamentals.
- Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online/OneDrive administration at a working to mid-level; core Teams administration.
- PowerShell for routine administration and reporting.
- Enablement & Foundations
- Intune/Autopilot awareness; Windows 11 SOE concepts; basic MECM exposure beneficial.
- Identity management (AD/Entra ID), Conditional Access/MFA awareness; networking fundamentals relevant to M365.
