Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Environment Specialist to maintain the availability, data quality, and security of our Industrial Control Systems (ICS) in our Data Centers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for site-level ICS program and project management, governing global initiatives related to ICS systems, managing and servicing electrical and mechanical industrial control systems within mission-critical datacenters, and promoting a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ICS availability, data quality, service, and change management, reporting, and security
  • Govern and participate in global initiatives related to ICS systems
  • Manage, service, and govern electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS) within mission-critical datacenters
  • Govern logical and physical access, approval, and permissions for all ICS systems, networks, workstations, and servers involved in datacenter monitoring and controls
  • Promote a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations by complying with safety programs and completing compliance assessments
  • Develop positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or applicable field experience in Critical Environments, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical; 3+ years of experience in operational, mission-critical, 24x7x365 facilities; 1.5+ years of experience in designing or commissioning Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) in datacenter environments; 2+ years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems operation and maintenance; Project management experience with agile methodologies; Ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and documents; Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities; Strong reporting skills for success metrics; Understanding of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS)
