Key Role: Project Officer, Housing Development
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Officer in the Housing Development Branch. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing project, administration and internal stakeholder support within the Office of the Chief Development Officer.
The Project Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing high level support to the Principal Adviser and broader administrative and program management support to the Office of the Chief Development Officer and the Housing Development Branch;
- Coordinating branch systems and procedures to ensure high quality and timely responses to correspondence, briefings and Ministerials, including liaison across the leadership team and with other offices;
- Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
About the Role:
The Project Officer will work in a complex and dynamic environment, exercising initiative and sound judgement to deliver results. The successful candidate will have strong organisational, time-management, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as analytical thinking and the ability to conceptualise ideas and turn them into deliverables that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Provide project support to the Housing Development Branch, including coordination of projects, development of project plans and tracking progress against key performance indicators;
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Office of the Chief Development Officer and the Housing Development Branch, including maintenance of records, preparation of reports and coordination of meetings;
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups and industry partners.
