Senior Capital Transactions Analyst Role

We are seeking a high-performing professional to join our Group Investments team as a Senior Capital Transactions Analyst.

About the Role

  • Identify new opportunities aligned to our strategy, conducting thorough analysis and making informed recommendations.
  • Analyse short-listed opportunities, providing in-depth insights and strategic guidance.
  • Develop underwrite packs, investment models, and development feasibilities, showcasing expertise in financial modelling.
  • Create fund models, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects.
  • Support buy and sell-side processes, facilitating smooth transaction execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, implementing robust strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Assist with contractual documentation and negotiation, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal approvals, streamlining decision-making processes.
  • Manage internal transaction workstreams, coordinating teams and resources effectively.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including agents, consultants, and advisors, building strong partnerships.
  • Maintain transaction databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Contribute to strategic projects, driving business innovation and growth.
  • Represent our organization in the market, promoting our brand and values.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a proactive self-starter with a strong understanding of investment proposals and due diligence. Excellent report writing, financial modelling skills, and stakeholder engagement capabilities are essential.

In addition, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience as an analyst in the industry, preferably supporting transactions or advisory.
  • Strong investment modelling and development feasibility skills.
  • A solid understanding of operational and financial parameters in established and development assets.
  • A proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills.
  • Customer focus – anticipating and understanding the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
