About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Nursing to join our team. As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality education across Master's or undergraduate nursing programs.

Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development of curriculum, engage in scholarly research, and foster strong industry partnerships to enhance the student experience and program growth in both face-to-face and online modes.

You'll have the opportunity to supervise honours and postgraduate students, collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, and participate in research aligned with our strategic priorities. Your engagement with local health services, schools, and networks will be key to strengthening community connections and expanding the reach of our nursing program.

Position Requirements:
  • Possession of an undergraduate nursing degree as well as a Master's qualification with a minimum three-year recent post registration clinical experience.
  • Registered as a Nurse (Division 1) in Australia, evidence of meeting NMBA Recency of Practice registration standards.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability to successfully complete within 12 months of commencement.
  • Proven ability in the education of nursing students, including the ability to write course materials and teach in clinical and academic fields of nursing.
