Lead the Way in Nursing and Midwifery Education

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and academic direction to nursing and midwifery programs. This will involve driving innovation in curriculum design, teaching, and research, as well as mentoring and supporting academic staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies that align with industry needs and advances in nursing and midwifery practice.
  • Mentor and support academic staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality education and research.
  • Foster strong partnerships with healthcare providers, industry, and community organisations to enhance collaborative environments and career progression opportunities.
  • Drive research initiatives that focus on improving healthcare outcomes in regional, rural, and remote communities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a cohesive and effective academic team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of academic leadership and management.
  • Expertise in curriculum design and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
