Civil Engineer

We are seeking a technically strong engineer to join our team in Newcastle, Australia.

The successful candidate will have experience working across various sectors, including industrial/resources infrastructure, water and wastewater design, major bulk earthworks, stormwater management, roads and carparks, and local government infrastructure.

This role supports the expansion into Newcastle and the development of a civil capability in New South Wales. With a Principal Civil Engineer providing project, client, and personnel leadership, there are opportunities for career development.

As part of a growing team, you will work with engineers at different experience levels and disciplines. We offer mentoring within the team and opportunities for mentoring from technical leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs for civil engineering projects across various sectors
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Civil and Water teams
  • Mentor and develop Graduate Engineers and Designers
  • Coordinate with external clients and manage project deliverables

Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Multiple years of post-graduate consultancy experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Industrial/resources infrastructure
  • Water and Wastewater design
  • Major bulk earthworks design
  • Stormwater management
  • Roads and Carparks
  • Local Government Infrastructure
