About the Role

As a Support Worker in our Disability Services team, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with disabilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with daily activities, promote their independence, and ensure their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
  • Create a vibrant living environment by planning and facilitating recreational and social activities.
  • Be a compassionate listener and source of emotional support for residents.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of daily activities and progress.
Requirements
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
  • Victorian Working with Children Check (employee status).
  • Current CPR & First Aid certificate.
  • Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desired).
