About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize clinical expertise to diagnose, investigate and treat acute conditions.
  • Provide a combination of virtual and in-person care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Manage acute presentations in the community for conditions including cellulitis, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, VTE and complicated UTI.
  • Collaborate with a broad multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient-centered care.
About You
  • Hold full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner with at least 5 years' experience as a medical registrar, general practitioner or specialist.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience to determine the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations and treatment of patients with acute conditions.
  • Confidence in providing virtual care is highly regarded, as well as reviewing biometric data trends to identify early deterioration.
  • Demonstrate high professionalism, with ability to relate well with diverse individuals and commit to delivering exceptional patient care.
