**Virtual Health Care Specialist**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Officer to join our Virtual Care Centre in Adelaide, South Australia.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to contribute to virtual health initiatives by exercising their experience in clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of acute conditions.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centred care, access professional development and mentoring, and have the opportunity to lead in virtual health transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality virtual care services to patients
- Reviewing biometric data trends and applying theoretical knowledge and practical experience to determine appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations, and treatment
- Collaborating with a broad multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Full unrestricted registration as a medical practitioner with at least 5 years' experience as a medical registrar, General Practitioner, and/or with a specialty interest
- Confidence in providing virtual care and reviewing biometric data trends
- A high level of professionalism and ability to relate well with people of all interests, backgrounds, and abilities
