Job Title: Event Operations Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Venue Manager to lead our team and deliver exceptional service and operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer focus, outstanding leadership skills, and proven experience running or assisting in the running of a multifaceted venue.

  • Be a motivational and inspiring leader, develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience every time
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering and assisting guests
  • Drive staff development, maintain operational standards, and enhance guest experiences
  • Develop and grow the business through your own initiatives
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Venue, including the bar, bistro, gaming, and events
  2. Driving staff development, maintaining operational standards, and enhancing guest experiences
  3. Developing and growing the business through their own initiatives
  4. Utilizing financial and business acumen, coupled with operational experience, to effectively deliver the venues operational targets and vision
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Industry licences and accreditation RSA/RCG, wagering accreditation
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem solving skills, including working in a matrix organisation
  • Ability to qualify to meet the state liquor licensing nominee/liquor appointee requirements
