Finance team member sought to assist with accounts payable duties at head office in Brisbane.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join a national leader in their industry. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Process high volume of accounts payable invoices & prepare for payments
- Provide assistance to the accounting department (data entry, filing banking, auditing, & reconciling of accounts)
- Complete payments accurately & efficiently
- Preparation of weekly & monthly payment runs
- Weekly & monthly account reconciliations
- Daily banking duties
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable officer or similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional verbal, written & customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to use & create spreadsheets to assist with your day to day tasks
- Strong analytical & numeracy skills
