We are seeking a skilled data governance professional to propel our institution towards a future defined by robust data management.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of Microsoft Purview as our central data governance platform. You will bring together technical know-how and business insight to modernise how we manage data, connecting systems and streamlining scanning through a collaborative, university-wide approach.
- Lead the configuration, deployment, and implementation of best practices for Microsoft Purview.
- Partner with colleagues and vendors to deliver a smooth, well-supported rollout of Microsoft Purview.
- Configure and connect Microsoft Purview across our systems to map, classify, and trace data assets.
You are someone who thrives on turning complex data challenges into meaningful solutions that empower others. Your expertise in data governance, technical know-how, and collaborative mindset make you a natural at modernising processes and driving impactful change.
- Solid technical skills in data engineering and architecture, with hands-on experience deploying and using Microsoft Purview.
- Confidence in SQL and Python, along with strong knowledge of data-centric tools that support and enhance the Microsoft Purview environment.
- The ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships, translating complex data concepts into plain, actionable language for a range of audiences.
