About the Role:

The Senior Facilities Manager is a critical position within CBRE, responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective operation, maintenance, and development of services within their portfolio. This role requires a motivated leader capable of negotiating and communicating effectively across all organizational levels, managing a small team proficiently, and maintaining high standards of personal presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Oversee the performance of service contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with KPIs and efficient service delivery across various technical domains.
  • Tenant Liaison: Maintain effective communication and responsiveness to tenant inquiries and complaints, coordinating with the DEXUS Response Centre for improved service.
  • Administration: Monitor operational expenditure, manage invoicing and budgets, and ensure timely documentation updates while adhering to Quality Assurance practices.
  • Safety and Environmental Management: Address safety and environmental audit items, manage risks, and ensure documentation is maintained for compliance.
  • General Responsibilities: Engage in additional tasks as assigned, participate in training, and contribute to specialist portfolio tasks to enhance building operations expertise.

About You:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in building facilities or management roles, with a preference for some team management experience.
  • Experience working with and managing a portfolio of properties, preferably focused on sophisticated commercial and industrial properties.
  • Tertiary qualification in a technical or facilities field (or relevant trade courses with proven graduation).
  • OH & S General Induction for Construction Work or equivalent.
  • Experience in contractor management in commercial and industrial building environments.
  • Experience in project management is an advantage.
