Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversional Therapist to join our team in Campbelltown Mental Health Service.


The successful candidate will provide high-quality diversional therapy interventions to mental health service consumers, including assessment, treatment planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational and leisure activities designed to increase meaningful leisure time within a multidisciplinary setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diversional therapy programs to mental health service consumers.
  • Assess consumer needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for consumers.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:


  • A recognised degree in Diversional Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer.
  • Experience in providing diversional therapy interventions with mental health consumers in group and 1:1 formats.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
