Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Safety Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire safety systems to ensure the safety of clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and commissioning of fixed CO2 systems in accordance with SOLAS and flag state requirements.
  • Servicing and commissioning of fixed foam systems in accordance with SOLAS and flag state requirements.
  • Servicing and commissioning of hyper mist systems in accordance with SOLAS and flag state requirements.
  • Servicing and commissioning of fire detection systems in accordance with SOLAS and flag state requirements.
  • Servicing and commissioning of portable firefighting equipment in accordance with SOLAS and flag state requirements.
  • Fault identification, troubleshooting, and condition reporting.
  • Testing and certification of valves and cylinders as required.
  • Providing service reports and photographs of completed jobs.
  • Sourcing and installation of new parts and equipment.
  • Adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Committing to workplace safety and good work practices.
  • Assisting with the compilation and distribution of job packs and providing operational support where necessary.
  • Liaising directly with customers regarding service work.
  • Contributing to internal and external audits.
  • Conducting facility maintenance as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience in designing fire safety services including CFD analysis and thermal modeling.
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Report writing.
  • Possessing a passion for adhering to company ethos.
  • Providing cost-effective solutions for client projects.
  • Acting independently in carrying out assigned project work using common software packages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in the field.
