We have created a new position for a skilled and motivated building surveyor to join Council’s Fire Safety team consisting of a processes and policies officer, two senior building surveyors and the team leader. If you are a good communicator, have sound technical knowledge and experience as a Building Surveyor with a desire to move into the area of fire safety and the upgrading existing buildings, you are encouraged to apply.

A Degree, Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Building, Engineering, Construction field or equivalent with eligibility for acceptance into the BPB NSW Accreditation Scheme for Council Officers is essential. Council provides funding for annual renewal of Accreditation and Continuing Professional Development for this position.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.This position also includes a Council Leaseback Vehicle.
