Youth Justice Specialist

A Youth Justice Case Manager role is available in Sefton, providing support and guidance to children.
This position plays a vital role in preventing children from entering the criminal justice system and helping them achieve a promising future.
The ideal candidate will be committed to social work, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to make informed decisions.
- A recognized qualification in Social Work is essential, along with registration with Social Work England.
- Enhanced DBS certification is also required, as well as the ability to work effectively within teams and multi-agency setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Managing risk and vulnerability while protecting the public.
- Upholding the reputation of the Department and Council.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Competent in IT, able to navigate electronic systems.
- Strong commitment to social work.
