About the Role

The Senior Accountant will be involved in providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of businesses, from start-ups to significant global entities and large privately owned businesses and high net worth individuals.


This role will provide exposure to numerous clients across a broad range of industries, with a focus on clients in the Healthcare Industry.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
  • Prepare tax returns for all entities.
  • Prepare clear and concise work papers.
  • Perform tax planning for clients.
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements.
  • Prepare Fringe Benefit Tax returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of advice for clients in relation to business operations and regulatory matters.
  • Assist with the set-up of new businesses and acquisition of businesses, including structuring advice, financial analysis, due diligence, and cash flow projections.
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly management reporting.
  • General business administration.


About You

  • You are a team player, committed to supporting team members and joining in the vibrant culture that the team aims to exude.
  • You are CA or CPA qualified, or currently undertaking.
  • You have 3-4 years of experience in Business Services.
  • You are client-focused, with a strong commitment to quality service and client relationships.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You can establish professional relations with internal and external clients.
  • You have demonstrated analytical/problem-solving ability.
  • You can multitask and effectively manage individual and team work flow.
  • You are self-motivated, taking responsibility for personal and professional development.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Professional Solutions (APS) and Xero are desirable skills.
