Job Summary

This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a childcare service, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and implementing educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Oversee daily operations, maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, managing notifications, incidents, and compliance reporting.
  • Recruit, train, and support educators to uphold service quality and compliance.
  • Conduct regular home visits, risk assessments, and monitoring to ensure safe and educationally rich environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care or related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and national regulations, with the ability to implement and monitor compliance.
