Strategic Policy and Advisory Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Policy Advisor to join our team in Canberra.
As a Strategic Policy Advisor, you will play a key role in developing policy proposals related to workforce development in the Early Childhood Education sector. You will work closely with state and territory governments, as well as key authorities, to develop and implement measures to support this sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to educate them on key changes
- Contributing to achieving Closing the Gap targets
- Partnering with industry experts to drive research and analysis of projects
- Developing policy options and advice
- Providing leadership in delivering strategic objectives for the area
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and written communication skills
- Previous experience in similar policy roles
- Leadership experience in managing complex teams
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education
