Job Description:

This is a highly specialized technical role that requires extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in the context of overhead cranes, hoists, and jacking equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.

They will also be required to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

The role involves collaborating with project managers and engineers to optimize equipment performance and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate and/or WA Electrical Licence
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Technician in mechanical and electrical roles
  • Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
