About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) team. As a key member of our Intake, Assessment, Consultation, and Brief Treatment (iACT) Team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, formulation, and treatment planning for children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Internal iACT processes into ELMHS and navigation of ongoing psychiatric support in the community
  2. Performing comprehensive community psychiatric assessments, formulations, and treatment plans for individuals aged 0-17
  3. Establishing strong partnerships with all ELMHS teams and external professionals, including paediatricians, private practitioners, Headspace, schools, and Peninsula Health
  4. Participating in patient flow within iACT and ensuring prioritization and allocation of referrals
