Job Role

The Mortgage Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships between our partners and the residential sales team.

This position will work closely with the Account Managers to ensure that all credit submissions are thoroughly evaluated, while maintaining high standards of service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Account Manager with portfolio management, daily workflow, and pipeline maintenance, providing technical support through scenario assistance and product guidance.
  • Support Account managers with new loan escalation requests from third-party introducers.
  • Maintain the integrity of our credit policies, responsible lending, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly to stakeholders on scenarios and escalations as defined within service level agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of contact with parties.
  • Attend to phone calls and email queries.
  • Keep the Account Manager informed of new information during the credit assessment process.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in mortgage lending, particularly in residential lending within a Third-party channel environment.
  • A solid understanding of residential credit and mortgage structures.
  • Experience using CRM systems (ideally SalesForce) in customer support and processing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A high degree of analytical skills.
  • The ability to build rapport and develop relationships with third-party introducers and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to work under pressure with strong time management practices.
