Key Responsibilities:- Risk Management Strategy and Framework: Assist the board and senior management in developing and maintaining the risk management framework, including policies and procedures.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments and risk profiling to identify emerging risks and vulnerabilities, and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize risks to an acceptable level.
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and prudential standards, and stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure our risk management practices remain current and aligned.
- Risk Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, the board of directors, and relevant committees, and communicate risk-related information and insights effectively to key stakeholders.
- A tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior risk and/or compliance role, preferably in the financial services industry or a regulated sector.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
