About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation in the West Lake Macquarie area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business management, leadership, and community development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organisational goals
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality services to the community
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and local businesses
  • Ensure the effective management of financial resources and assets
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the organisation's compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a community-based organisation
  • Strong business management skills, including financial management and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture and community development principles
