Electrical Design Leadership Position

The role of Electrical Design Leader involves overseeing the successful execution of high-value infrastructure projects. As a seasoned electrical engineer and leader, you will guide cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence and deliver designs that drive client value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project strategies and plans in collaboration with clients to address electrical design needs.
  • Define key milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies aligned with project goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of electrical design projects, ensuring quality, cost, and time benchmarks are met.
  • Manage design teams, digital engineers, and subcontractors to maintain technical excellence.
  • Ensure all work adheres to statutory standards and client requirements.
  • Represent client interests in leadership meetings and key decisions where appropriate.
  • Maintain strong relationships with asset owners, clients, and authorities to unlock new project opportunities.
  • Contribute to tenders, client meetings, and presentations as part of business development.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Hold an undergraduate qualification in Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Have 10 to 15+ years' experience in the Electrical Supply Industry.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary design teams and large-scale projects.
  • Strong commercial, stakeholder, and project management skills.
  • Highly proficient in project management tools and software.
