Financial Planning and Analysis Role

Pepperstone is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in Melbourne. This key role will involve conducting analysis and reporting across the Group, identifying key insights to drive decision making and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial focus and passion for finance, with experience in Oracle/PBCS or similar reporting tools (preferred). Advanced Excel knowledge and financial modelling skills are also essential.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your analytical, planning, and information presentation skills, while working closely with the FP&A Manager and other stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Be an integral part of the annual budget and forecast process, helping with communication, consolidation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with the business through monthly reporting and insightful analysis of actuals vs. plan, presenting findings to the P&L owners and driving decisions.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and support the FP&A Manager to understand key business drivers and identify future opportunities and issues.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support the business and enable decision making.
  • Contribute to the production of impactful monthly board packs.
  • Assist with the management of reporting and planning systems (Oracle/PBCS) and be part of continuous improvement efforts to align with best practice.
  • Take on exciting ad hoc projects as required.
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • CA/CPA qualification with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in Oracle/PBCS or similar reporting tools (preferred).
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and information presentation skills.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones as required.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to live company values.
