This is a full-time contract position based in Dubbo.
The role involves providing assessments, home visiting, crisis management and casework to support vulnerable families.
Our TeamWe work to support families before a crisis escalates.
Key Responsibilities- Assessing family needs and developing plans for safety.
- Working with families to achieve goals that address the well-being of children.
- Facilitating case planning and risk assessment using a strengths-based approach.
- Participating in an on-call roster.
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a related field.
- Experience working with at-risk children and their families.
- Ability to conduct risk and family assessments using a strengths-based approach.
- Capacity to work with families in crisis and support them to achieve their goals.
- Understanding of child protection issues and Aboriginal cultural safety.
- Ongoing commitment to training and development.
- Current NSW Working With Children's check and driving license.
