Family Therapist Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Family Therapist to join our Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) program in Dubbo, NSW. This is a unique opportunity to work in an intensive, home-based family preservation program designed to support vulnerable families and keep children safely at home.

The Ideal Candidate
  • We're looking for someone with strong clinical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred, along with equivalent experience and passion
  • Experience in risk assessment, with a clear understanding of safety management for clients, colleagues, and yourself
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Confidence using clinical software systems and maintaining accurate case records
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including participation in a rotating on-call roster, to meet family needs
  • A current Australian Driver Licence and ability to travel for work purposes
