About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Structural Engineer to lead our structural team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development of staff and staffing projections for ongoing and future projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the development of staff and staffing projections for ongoing and future projects.
  • Assume responsibility for management and profitability of multiple complex large-scale projects, including pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling, and monitoring progress.
  • Responsible for the development, management, and training of staff, including recruitment, selection, and remuneration.
  • Manage the technical and contractual aspects of projects to ensure technical requirements are met and performed in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture or equivalent.
  • Membership with Engineers Australia and CPEng.
  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience in engineering design in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to scheme up major projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
