About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our ACT/SNSW Buildings & Energy Team. As a key member of our global network, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural design solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the structural design of buildings and infrastructure, including inspections, assessments, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers to deliver iconic projects.
  • Manage projects from conception to final design and construction surveillance.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work on exciting projects spanning the globe for a variety of clients, including government agencies.
  • Provide ongoing training and career development opportunities for junior engineers.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure their growth and development.

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
  • 8-12 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer.
  • Experience in the Australian consulting environment.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards.
