We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Livestock Production Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Delivery: Contribute to the delivery of projects focused on improving cattle productivity, working closely with researchers and industry partners.
- Cattle Management: Develop and implement effective strategies for managing cattle in various environments, including pens and paddocks.
- Facilities Maintenance: Maintain and clean animal facilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain cattle respiration systems, remote sensing equipment, and other machinery.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- Skills and Experience: Proven experience in cattle management, facility maintenance, and equipment operation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with researchers, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
