About the Role

We are seeking a talented Department Manager to join our team. As a leader, you will play a key role in shaping your future and career development within the retail industry.

You will be responsible for end-to-end leadership of your department, fostering a connected, flexible and high-performing team committed to serving customers and communities.

  • As a leader who cares, you will work closely with the store leadership team and team members to ensure we provide our customers with a great shopping experience and our team with a great place to work.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and department capabilities through our Store Leadership Pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead your team to deliver carton rate and drive availability to ensure our customers have what they need while prioritising sustainability commitments through recycling.
  • Engage and role model ways to delight our customers through Everyday ACTs - Acknowledge, Care & Thank.
  • Make safety a top priority for team and customers by ensuring correct processes are followed in store.
