Ventia has been awarded a new contract by Seqwater to provide preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance services, as well as electrical, mechanical, and instrumentational services, across its water network. This contract spans 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams.

About the Role

  • We are seeking a strategic leader to join our team in South East Queensland.
  • This full-time permanent role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance office and remote work.

The Optimisation & Planning Manager will lead a team of 8 Planners and Schedulers across 3 regions in South East Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review data to advise clients on cost-effective and efficient delivery methods.
  • Assist teams in building business cases based on collected data.
  • Enhance user experience by reviewing and building functionality for clients' systems.
  • Work towards aligning clients with ISO550001 via a 4-year roadmap to drive innovation.
  • Develop PowerBI reports as required.
  • Provide team leadership and training.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Project Management with significant mechanical or electrical trades experience.
  • Proven track record in a Maintenance Engineering Management role.
  • Technical competence in PowerBi, Mainpac, MS Products, and other Engineering and Project Management Software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop excellent working relationships with multiple stakeholders and direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management, and all levels of the project delivery team.
