Our partnership with Seqwater involves delivering preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical, and instrumental services across its water network. This entails providing services at 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams.

About the Role

  • You will join one of Australia's largest essential infrastructure service providers.
  • This full-time permanent role offers a hybrid working opportunity, based in a QLD office and work from home.

The Optimisation & Planning Manager will lead a team of 8 consisting of Planners and Schedulers across 3 regions throughout South East Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will review collected data to advise clients on the best methodology to deliver works cost-effectively and efficiently.
  • You will assist teams in building business cases based on the data collected.
  • Review and build functionality to enhance user experience of the client's system.
  • Work towards aligning clients with ISO550001 via a 4-year roadmap to drive innovation.
  • Build PowerBI Reports as required.
  • Team Leadership and Training.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Project Management with significant mechanical or electrical trades experience.
  • Proven track record in a Maintenance Engineering Management role.
  • Technically competent in the use of PowerBi, Mainpac, MS Products, and other Engineering and Project Management Software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop excellent working relationships with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management, and all levels of the project delivery team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Ventia offers a flexible, supportive, and inclusive work environment where you matter.
