About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide individualized support to NDIS participants in their homes and within community settings. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and hygiene assistance to meet the needs of clients.
  • Preparing meals and managing household tasks to promote client independence.
  • Assisting with community access and transportation to facilitate social interactions and outings.
  • Administering medication as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Offering emotional support and promoting mental well-being.
Requirements

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Female identification (required for client preference).
  • Relevant experience in disability support, mental health, or aged care (preferably).
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A current driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
