Field Service Technician Role Overview
">Metso Automation Equipment professionals will play a pivotal part in providing support to machines, spares, and wears at customer sites. In this position, technical services will be provided in conjunction with sales teams.
This role offers opportunities for experience and training on other Metso products and services, enhancing your skills and expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
",ul>Provide hands-on service work on Metso Mineral Processing Analytical Equipment in the field at various customer sites.Act as a liaison between customers, product divisions, and sales personnel.Perform technical evaluations and analyze equipment and machine component failures.Oversee projects at customer sites and ensure timely completion of tasks.Complete field machine inspections per global and customer procedures.Escalate questions and analysis to Technical Support and Engineering teams.Prepare post site visit reports, time sheets, and expenses after site visits.Support warranty process and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) where applicable.Promote products and services to customers.Enhance Technical Support value add and collaborate with Technical Support Teams.Identify equipment in the field that is not in our installed base and trigger data input into CRM systems.Programmable Logic Controller & Distributed Control Systems experience advantageous.High-level fault-finding aptitude.Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel.Must have a current motor vehicle license.Must be physically fit and able to pass random medical and drug tests.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.Ability to work away from home, extended periods, and extended hours, including weekends or as required.Clearly understand and competency in Risk management and safety rule compliance.Full OEM training on Metso Analytical Equipment provided.Ability to travel within short notice.",/ul>",p>What’s in it for you
