As a Portfolio Manager at Westpac Group, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan that includes financials, risk management, projects (change), people, and operating model components.

This is a full-time position based in Sydney, requiring attendance at the office twice a week. As a Portfolio Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives and projects, provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and executives on data-driven decision making and strategic planning, build and maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration, and lead and manage a portfolio of projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in strategic and/or business performance role at a similar level.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Experience with financial management.
  • Experience working together and collaborating with other divisional leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking.
  • A change agent with proven ability to lead change.
