About the Role

As a strategic financial leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our contract. You will oversee financial operations, drive performance optimisation, manage risks, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing budget preparation, monitoring, and management for multiple bases across the region.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conducting detailed cost analysis and forecasting to support informed decision-making.
  • Identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies to maintain contract stability.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support.
  • Coordinating audits and ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Leading a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

We seek a seasoned finance professional with experience in senior finance or accounting, preferably within the defence or government sector. You should have expertise in managing finances for multiple locations, familiarity with government financial regulations, and experience coordinating audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA) is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance are mandatory.
