The Role: Environmental and Occupational Health Safety Manager
This full-time permanent position based in Lithgow requires you to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of environmental and occupational health safety activities across our sites. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, lead safety initiatives, and promote a culture of responsibility. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, identifying risks, maintaining competency records, implementing policies and procedures, leading safety initiatives, investigating incidents, tracking performance, and managing the HSE team.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in health, safety, and environment.
- Experience in complex manufacturing and engineering settings.
- In-depth knowledge of Commonwealth and NSW OH&S and environmental legislation.
- Ability to implement compliant safety management systems and injury prevention programs.
- Strong risk management and incident investigation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary for this position is around AU$120,000 - AU$150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
