About the Role

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from medium to high-rise buildings, and develop your skills in structural design.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare structural designs for buildings, including steel, precast concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry, and timber components.
  2. Plan and coordinate design packaging and interfaces.
  3. Produce designs and design documentation.
  4. Verify designs in accordance with our quality system.
  5. Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A passion for structural engineering and a strong understanding of design principles.
  2. At least 3 years of experience working in a local consultancy, with a focus on structural design.
  3. Proficiency in software packages Inducta, Spacegass, and Rapt.
  4. Experience in structural design components, including steel, concrete, and timber.
  5. A willingness to learn and be challenged, with a growth mindset.
