Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft, specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil design deliverables and documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage civil design deliverables and documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including engineering calculations, hydraulic modeling, and detailed design drawings.
- Coordinate design outputs with drafting services and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Effectively manage project schedules and costs, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time.
- Contribute to tender submissions and conduct site inspections, audits, and works supervision as required.
- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a proven track record of leading and managing projects independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Construction Induction (White Card) certification.
- Experience in water and sewerage engineering, including pump station design, pipeline design, hydraulics modeling, design management, planning, and feasibility studies.
- Knowledge of relevant local design codes and standards (SEQ Code, WSAA, Australia Standards).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils3D, 12D, and Navisworks.
- Experience in hydraulic modeling, including water and sewage reticulation, bulk-water, and surge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to client satisfaction and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team and the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage, and meet deadlines, and maintain a high quality of work.
