Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Student Support Coordinator to join our Graduate Research Services (GRS) Team at Edith Cowan University. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating research support services for doctoral and research master candidates, performing quality assurance functions, and strengthening the research culture of the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support HDR candidates and supervisors to ensure a high-quality research experience.
  • Enhance the research culture, collaboration, and communication at ECU by coordinating research-related activities and events.
  • Coordinate ECU strategic scholarships allocation and management, and identify new opportunities to support research students.
  • Provide analytics and reporting on all matters related to HDR candidates and supervisors to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative services and support services in a large organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide good customer service to achieve quality outcomes for internal and external customers.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations based on findings.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and investigate and implement new ideas.

This full-time, fixed-term position attracts a remuneration of $92,087 - $99,353pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
