Business Development Executive

Metcash Trading Limited is seeking a highly motivated sales representative to join our team as a Business Development Manager – On Premise (ALM Liquor). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering growth in our business footprint and driving sales in key areas.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of products, categories, and segments within liquor. They will also have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide expert advice on our products.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Building new business partnerships with customers using the ALM network, including groups and individual venues.
- Driving excellence in execution with a focus on delivering all KPI's for the business through its On-Premise channel.
- Maximising all key business tools to effectively plan and achieve set objectives in your territory and be responsible for a set geographic area, ensuring the required call schedule is achieved as per business expectations for customers.
You're Likely a Match If
You have:
- Experience as a territory manager with a great understanding of the On-Preme channel.
- Extensive knowledge of products, categories, and segments within liquor.
- Highly customer focused.
- Solid understanding of the Liquor industry and its major suppliers and their product ranges.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
