Senior Culinary Manager

This is a permanent full-time position offering job security and stability in a vital leadership capacity within our aged care kitchen team. We're seeking an experienced culinary leader to oversee the catering operations at our 126-bed aged care facility.
This role extends beyond a standard kitchen leadership position – it's an opportunity to positively impact lives through food. Lead a dedicated catering team to deliver high-quality, flavourful meals that meet residents' tastes, preferences, and dietary requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations while managing budgets, ordering, and rostering, ensuring optimal cost-effectiveness. Foster strong, positive relationships with residents, their families, and the care team.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement seasonal menus that cater to residents' tastes and dietary needs
- Lead and motivate a dedicated catering team to produce high-quality meals
- Oversee kitchen operations, including budget management, inventory control, and staffing scheduling
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the care team
- Proven experience as a Culinary Leader or similar senior role
- A genuine passion for food and its impact on people's lives
- Strong knowledge of aged care catering requirements, including IDDSI and specialised diets
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills
