We are seeking an Electrical Design Consultant to join our team. As an Electrical Design Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrical designer to expand their skills and knowledge within a supportive team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop electrical systems for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and design standards.
- Collaborate with our team of design consultants, engineers, and administrators to ensure the smooth progress of our projects.
- Prepare and present electrical designs and reports to our clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and design standards.
- Contribute to the development of our company's electrical design capabilities and expertise.
**Requirements**
- Formal qualification or background experience in Electrical Engineering/design, or an electrical trade certificate with a minimum of 5 years practical experience.
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, design standards, and code of practice related to the design and construction of infrastructure.
- Experience in preparation of electrical design or a keen interest in learning.
- Proficient in computer systems and skills in AutoCAD, design software, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, displaying appropriate judgment, flexibility, accuracy, organizational awareness, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
